Assistant Director
An exciting, growth-focused opportunity for an experienced leader who envisions themselves as a long-term team member with CAA! The Assistant Director will report to and work closely with the Executive Director and will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the agency’s success in achieving its mission of reducing local poverty through self-sufficiency initiatives. This position will partner with all departments, including operations, program, fiscal, and administration, to promote cohesion and effectiveness across the agency. The Assistant Director will be responsible for executing the agency’s Community Needs Assessment, Strategic Planning, and other projects as identified.

VITA and Volunteers Coordinator
Manage a vital program that encourages economic benefit for people with low income while building a sustainable volunteer network! The VITA and Volunteers Coordinator will play a dual role in supporting Union-Snyder Community Action Agency (CAA) programs by coordinating the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program via volunteer recruitment and management as well as tax return preparation, for part of the year; the remainder of the year will see this individual recruiting, scheduling, and managing community volunteers for various CAA programs.  This position is responsible for helping CAA grow its volunteer network and identify new opportunities and outlets to engage the community and increase agency capacity.
