EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (ERAP)
Are you eligible?
Eligible residents must have a household income at 80% or below the average median income (AMI) in their county.
Union and Snyder counties received a combined $5.6 million for emergency rental assistance. Union-Snyder CAA is now processing applications to distribute this emergency funding for eligible residents.
This funding is provided by the Federal Consolidated Appropriations Act, also known as the second Congressional COVID-19 relief package. This program is administered by the Department of Human Services (DHS).

Eligible expenses include rent, utility, and home energy costs through this program.
Eligible households include those with reduced income or financial hardship that were directly or indirectly related to COVID-19.
Income guidelines are 80% AMI for county of residency.
How to Apply
Applications are accepted on the state's benefits system, compass.state.pa.us.
