EVALUACIÓN DE LAS NECESIDADES DE LA COMUNIDAD
2026
Our Community Needs Assessment is underway!
The 2026 Community Needs Assessment will be conducted in four phases:
Phase I will begin with widespread surveying of Union and Snyder County food distribution
sites in collaboration with the Central PA Food Bank as we update regional Hunger Mapping
Project data which informs food security initiatives in the region.
Phase II will involve health access data collection from Community Health Needs
Assessments currently being conducted by area hospital systems.
Phase III and IV will be spearheaded by CAA's Community Needs Assessment Committee
conducting surveys of the low-income population to gather remaining insight needed to
assess and rank needs, followed by analysis and compilation of the data gathered from all
three assessments. This multi-pronged approach will allow CAA to create a holistic view of
our community's unique needs and respond directly by adapting our services to better
meet them.

Community Needs Assessments are conducted every 3 years. They are the
foundation of our work and the driving force that decides programming, services,
and the future of how we serve our community.
