Who can get help from STEP?

You can get help from STEP if you:

Are a resident of Union or Snyder County AND
Have a child/children under the age of 18 living in the household AND
Employed AND
Income eligible

 

What can STEP do for me?

What do I have to do?

  • Provide access to USTA
  • Help with driving lessons
  • Help with the purchase of a car
  • Help with car insurance
  • Help with car repairs
  • Help with barriers towards child care

 

  • Pay a co-pay toward your financial assistance
  • Work with STEP staff to set and complete goals that help remove your transportation problems
  • Identify other sources of assistance for transportation problems
  • Demonstrate good work skills
  • Keep a job
  • Comply with other program goals (if you are in other programs)
