Family Self-Sufficiency Program is intended to be a five year program
operated through the Housing Authority for individuals on
Section 8 housing. CAA is contracted to do the Case Management for
this program.
While in the program, participants have the opportunity to earn an escrow
account. Accumulation of the escrow account takes place as earned
income increases. To be eligible to receive the escrow, participants
must successfully complete program-related goals with the primary goal
being:
Throughout the program, it is an expectation that the participant will find
and maintain employment.
CAA assists participants in setting goals that will lead them toward successful
program completion.
