The Union-Snyder CAA provides assistance to households that need help paying a utility bill - gas or electric - or in need of fuel assistance

In addition, the Union-Snyder CAA coordinates PPL's and UGI Penn Natural Gas Customer Assistance Programs.  These special programs offer customers, with limited income, a reduced monthly payment based on family size, income, and electric use and also provides a chance to erase debt owed to the utility companies .
